and here is my entry:
I wanted to leave the flowers unglued so that they were more dimensional.
The inside of the card:
Close up detail of the detail in the veil. Love sparkly!
Just a tip: I couldn't get a solid image at first of the bride and groom so lightly (and I mean lightly) run your sanding block evenly over the rubber. This helps to "grab" the ink a little better on any solid image stamp like this one.
Stamp Sets: marry me
Ink Pads: stazon, riding hood red
Cardstock: basic black, whisper white
DSP: neutrals DSP stack
Punches: small oval punch
Tools:paper snips (a must for all that fussy cutting)
Other: basic rhinestones and dazzling effects.

So elegant - inside and out! Love the extra sparkle and I love how you did the flowers!
ReplyDeleteLoving the flowers Melissa, what a cool idea. The colours are amazing too.
ReplyDeleteLovely wedding card. Those flowers looks fantastic cut out and are perfect for the sketch

Oh ... this is on my wish list, Mel! I can imagine that the 'silhouette' image might be a little tricky to create with ... particularly for a bridal card! Thanks for the tip about the solid stamps ... I have had the same trouble with Dasher ... and with Extreme Guitar! Hugs xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a great interpretation of the sketch! I love how you used the flowers and stems for the horizontal layers. Beautiful! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
