A baby present package

Another little sneak peek for something special next month.  I thought I would use it to make an entire ensemble for gift giving, but have done it in pretty in pink, bashful blue and certainly celery to show you how it looks in other colours.

Part 1:
The card

Part 2:
The gift voucher holder for the baby shower

Inside the new petite pocket pouch.

Part 3,
A small box with which to give a present:

The front of the box (Die box#2)  has a window cut out using the curly label punch, then has an acetate window to cover it.  Added the baby booties, baby sign with a bashful blue brad, shredded and crimped some whisper white cardstock for the inside, and you have it
A complete gift giving ensemble for a baby shower, then a birth.

Some Sneak peaks

Ok, not only is there a fantastic joining special with Stampin' Up! at the moment, but there is also something coming up next month.  I can't give any details away on that at this point but it does involve a new product or two that isn't in the new idea book and catalogue, so I will give you a sneak peak over the coming days, by way of a card or project using it, then *happy sigh* you will just have to wait until 1st October for the exciting news.

See the little presents in the stockings? They are from loads of love accessories.  Cute huh?
AND... what about the stocking trim?
I pulled apart the cotton wool ball, rubbed it between two hands to make it stick together better, flattened it out, and then stuck it onto the trim of the stockings, which had sticky strip attached to it.  Cute huh?

My New Stamp Studio

I have finally settled into my new stamp studio, and I love it to bits.  I am just waiting on a new table top that covers our existing pool table and I will be finished.

The table seats 10 comfortably. The stools are especially made for pool tables.

The buffet in the back right houses all my business items, catalogues, bags, envelopes, and all embossing, and the tubs for the table which contain all the tools needed for each class.
fantastic lighting, it makes all the difference.

As you walk in the double doors to the left is my new furniture that holds all my stampin' up! goodies.

This first cabinet holds my embellishments, paints, markers, glitters, ribbons,

The cabinet in the corner holds my punches, ink caddy, cutters, spare papers etc.
The centre cabinet holds all my stamp sets, current in the top, and behind the doors are my "just can't part with" retired ones. The clear mount stamp sets are all in alphabetical order - just the way I like it lol!

The last cabinet is my die cut cabinet, the top holds all my dies, bigz, xl, originals etc.
A pride of place for my big shot machine, and in the cabinets underneath holds my embossing folders, and all things big shot ie spare plates, shims, mats etc.

My paper station, 12 x 12 racks for 12 x 12 cardstock and DSPs, in the filing cabinet holds all my A4 cardstock, labelled and in colour family order.  I also keep my printer and laptop here.

The other end of the room there is a sofa(bed) and my TV.
Love my room - thanks for looking :)

An elegant invitation

This next invitation uses a belly band to hold it together, oh but what a beautiful belly band it is, created in brushed gold cardstock, it has been edged using the scallop edge trim punch, the centre of the belly band is the oval textured impressions designer frame cut out and the sentiment in the centre is from sincere salutations again, but this time was stamped in versamark, then embossed in gold, to make it look oh so elegant.

Where my watermark is, is where you would print your invitation information.
Little gold brads hold the vellum to the brushed gold cardstock underneath.

how nice would this look in the brushed silver also?
Details:

Stamp Sets: Sincere salutations
Ink Pads: versamark
Cardstock:  whisper white, brushed gold, vellum
Punches: wide oval punch, scallop trim border punch
Tools: big shot machine, heat tool, powder pal tray, paper cutter, printer for invitation information inside

an Invitation or two

I was asked to do a big shot workshop with a focus on invitations, so over the next couple of weeks I will have a few different types of invitations, colours, styles, formats etc using ideas from the big shot as well.  All products used on all invitations (except for printed sections of inside) are Stampin' Up! products.  I was pretty happy with how they turned out.

As not everyone of course who attended the workshop wanted to make an invitation, I chose for the ones who wanted an invitation to use the youre invited stamp from sincere salutations, who ever wanted to make theirs into a card could use another sentiment from that stamp set, however the final card ended up being a christmas theme, invitation or card, but you will see that one at the end of my invitation segment.

This invitation fits in a regular long envelope, so will not incur extra postage costs, you can also pop a magnet on the back to have the recipient able to pop it on the fridge with ease.

I used the beautiful embossing folder called elegant lines, and the all new textured impressions designer frames folders (this is the oval part of the invite header)

Details:

Stamp Sets: Sincere salutations, Tiny tags
Ink Pads: Elegant eggplant
Cardstock: elegant eggplant, whisper white
Punches: wide oval punch, eyelet border punch
Tools: big shot machine, printer for invitation information

Ok theres only 7 or so days left of this fantastic joining special to become a Stampin' up! demonstrator!  If you are sitting on the fence over whether to do it or not, consider the special price to join for this month only - only $231.20 for the full kit (that is 20% discount of the original joining price, and a kit valued at more than $610) or you can join with the mini kit for just $169 (over $310 in value).  It does run for this month only, so its the most perfect time to join my growing team.  Wherever you are across the country, you are still able to join under me, I provide a team only blog that you will have access too, it has ideas, tips, tutorials etc for you to use for yourself if you choose to be a hobby demo, or to take away and use for classes and such.  This was specifically designed for all members of my team but also more importantly for those that live a far distance and are unable to attend team meetings.
You will not only have that support, but also the support of me as your upline, I will be as involved as you choose me to be, whether it be a little or a lot, I am here to support you in whatever demonstratorship you choose.

Elegante'....

Did I say in a previous post how much I love the stamp set established elegance, well this time I have a new first for me - FABRIC!!!! yep Fabric, i have added the beau chateau fabric to my card and I love the result.

I ironed on the big shot fabric adhesive roll onto the back of the fabric (all 3 designs).  I then ran each piece through the big shot machine with the tasteful trims die, I used the scallop part for two of the fabric pieces then the oval link part of the die for the 3rd piece.  This fabric runs through the centre of the card.  I then ironed over the fabric once it was on my card to make it stick, too easy (TIP: use a piece of cardstock to cover the top of the card then iron on top of that piece of cardstock).

I also used the fabric and made a ruffle trim on the left hand side of the main image.  Hmmm am most definitely sold on this fabric idea, especially as it requires no sewing.
Seam binding, crinkled and added in the form of a bow to the top of the centre piece.

Details:

Stamp Sets: Established elegance
Ink Pads: pink pirouette, crumb cake, early espresso
Cardstock: whisper white, pink pirouette, baja breeze
Punches:scallop trim edge punch
Tools: Big shot machine, tasteful trim die, iron and ironing board
Other: big shot fabric adhesive roll, water spritzer(for seam binding to make it crinkle), glue dots.

Life is Beautiful

Well I thought it was time to ink up my new stamp set forever young, so here it is in a card:

Pink pirouette cardstock, inked with early espresso ink using the small stamp from life is beautiful to create my own DSP at the top of the card, then the edges have been sponged in early espresso.
The bottom of the card is the deliciously gorgeous dsp from mocha morning and yes it is flocked - and I adore it.

Inside of the card:
as with the front, the inside black ribbon is the all new scalloped dotted ribbon, I have just used the other side as I had no need for the spots on this card.

Close up of the portrait frame adorned with pearls

The seam binding(ribbon) is actually very vanilla, I have dyed it in pink pirouette reinker then heat set to dry. Gorgeous!!

Details:

Stamp Sets:Forever Young, Life is Beautiful
Ink Pads: Early espresso, basic black, pink pirouette reinker
Cardstock: basic black, whisper white, pink pirouette
DSP: mocha morning
Punches: scallop trim edge punch
Tools: heat gun (for heat setting the ribbon)
