Fun and fast note
I love this little bird from fun and fast notes, so I decided to combine it with a large birdcage from the stamp set Aviary and pop it onto a thank you card, in my dry sense of humour, the bird is thankful for being out of the cage lol. The "sky" is lightly sponged in bashful blue, to take away the starkness of the white, and the pink background has been stamped in pink pirouette using the stamp Bella toile.
Details:
Stamp Sets: Fun and fast notes, Aviary, bella toile background stamp, curly cute
Ink Pads:Pink Pirouette, bashful blue
Stampin' Write markers: Pink pirouette, pretty in pink, Rose red, crumb cake, bashful blue, marina mist
Cardstock: Basic black, Pink pirouette, whisper white,
Punches:Scallop trim border
Other:blender pen, black taffeta ribbon, sponges, glue dots, snail.

Happy 60th
I needed a 60th birthday card for a MM this weekend, and found a perfect card to case from PCL. My mojo has taken a major holiday along with me this week I think, so I find this site terrific for when I need a card quick, and I love the result, flipped it on its side, added the 60 instead of the large butterfly and was done.
Hopefully my mojo returns soon, and am hoping this mini trip away restores it, will be back to my own cards shortly.
Details: ALL Stampin' Up!
Stamp Sets: Always
Ink Pads: Crumb cake
Cardstock: Baja breeze, Crumb cake, chocolate chip
Punches: Scallop trim border
Tools: Big shot machine, butterfly embosslit die
Other: Basic pearls

Thank you with watercolouring
I hope everyone in Australia had a fantastic day off yesterday for Australia Day, I am camping (yes again!! lol) atm, so enjoyed a bbq lunch with lamingtons for afterwards. So i thought I would share another CASE from PCL, I have changed the stamped image and the sentiment too but this card was too gorgeous. I love the satin bow, the small amount of watercolouring and the striped DSP from the hostess level 1 paper pack is just beautiful on this card. And yep, still building my thank you stash :)
All products are Stampin' up!

Love is....
Ok, Debi and I have been trying to organise an ATC swap for months and it just hadn't happened, so we finally sorted out a time, and Debi thankfully picked out a theme which was trio of valentine/love, very appropriate for the month of February, and that was our deadline to have it out by. Ok, this did not end up where it started in my head, but I am quiet happy with it, Its light and fun and just a little whimsical. I hope you liked it Debi.

A flower for you....
Ok I know these flowers have been around for ever, and its been in my to do file for ages, but I have a layout I want to put these on so I have done a mini tutorial for those that may have not seen them before:
Put aside 1 scallop circle, then with the remaining scallop circles fold in half, then half again, then half again
Happy Stamping!
You will need:
scallop circle punch
tombow glue
DSP or cardstock
Embellishment for centre ( I used the vintage brad - love love these)
punch out 8 scallop circles
I used a stampin around roller with black ink and the music note wheel on very vanilla cardstock
Put aside 1 scallop circle, then with the remaining scallop circles fold in half, then half again, then half again
On the remaining 1 full scallop circle cover in tombow glue (Snail will not do the trick with these)
start layering each folded piece around the scallop circle until they are all placed.
It should look like this:
Let Dry.
Once dry, add a brad or whatever embellishment you choose to the centre and your flower is done!
If you choose DSP its a lot finer then cardstock so your flower will look more flatter, it still looks great, I just needed the chunkier look for what I needed, usually though would use DSP
Happy Stamping!

Monochramatic layout
Here is a monochromatic 12 x 12 layout. I love the simple elegance of Black and Very vanilla together, its such a beautiful combination. It also fits the challenge this week at JAI which is just add monochromatic, this layout is also a layout I am doing for an upcoming class which the hostess requested to have tag punches for journalling incorporated into the layout, I also needed to keep it simple as there are different levels of scrapbookers attending, some fairly new, this way the more experienced ones can adapt it as they wish.
Details:All Stampin' Up!
Stamp Sets: Elements of style, Monogram sweet
Ink Pads:Basic black
Cardstock:Basic black, Very vanilla
Punches: Small tag punch, Large tag punch, scallop trim punch

January 2011....
I am a fan of getting one scrapbook layout done each month about that month just gone, it is a beautiful way to document your life story and the important or not so important(but fun) things you do along the way. So have decided to join the 12 months of 2011 group over at Crafters Anonymous and give it a whirl. Now I did have great intentions last year to do it, but it fell by the wayside, but have started scrapbooking a lot more recently which is my first love, and I have a few upcoming scrapbooking classes which is making me get off of my butt to do them lol. If you are interested in any classes, please feel free to drop me an email, or if there is anything you like, I may be able to make it up for you in a kit. Ok so for the month of January we went camping as you know, so its dedicated to that:
