Just riding......

One of the perks about being a demonstrator is the massive and i mean massive photo gallery of inspiration from demos from all over Australia and New Zealand. I cased this from a demo at Stampin Connections(cant find it but when i do will give her credit), but really simplified it as it was a part of my stamp club.

I used the brayer for the blue background, and dragged the whisper white ink pad over the top.  added the black cardstock for the ramp(using the circle scissors plus), half a bike and the brad.  oh and gratitious Graffiti is the background of the white card.  Sentiment is from outlined for fun.

Peter Pan??

Its our friends 40th birthday and his party is tonight.  It is a bit of a joke between my husband and the birthday boy about him being Peter Pan, so it was thought appropriate that he should have a Peter Pan card, now my hubby was all for me making him a card ugghhhh, we dont have a stamp image of Peter pan, so thanks to the computer i found one I liked, printed it on glossy paper (he is raised on dimensionals) then set to work:

While my brayering technique isnt perfect I am starting to get the hang of it, and see the little pirate on the ship with his sword? cute huh? lol.  Anyways I hope you like it, it was a fun card to make.

Deets:
Brayer
Ink pads: Night of Navy, Bashful blue, whisper white, basic black
Cardstock: glossy white
Circle punch for the scrap for the moon template, and white gel pen, and stampin sponges(these are great).

Here is a picture of the matching gift bag I made up for him also:

A totally tool card

Well its the last month of my stamp club tonight, and the hostess Robyn *waves* has set me a challenge, well it is for me its on cards for males, not my strong point, but i have come up with some cards finalllllyyy,  the one below though is purely a card that will be used as another way to use this fabulous set, as the faux stitching took a little time, too much time for a workshop night.  I love it though and wanted to share it with you all tonight:

Deets:
Stamps: Totally Tool, Sanded background, Occasional greetings
Cardstock: Night of Navy, whisper white, scrap of kraft
Ink: Night of navy, silver encore pad, basic black
Punches: Photo corner punch, large tag punch
Other: Mat pack(love love love this little item), white gel pen, silver brad,

Inside the card is layered night of navy with faux stitching and inside that is a blank piece of white to write on, this was a really fun card to make.

A brayered sunset.....

I cased this card from a video I found on Tami Whites site.  She made it look so easy so I had to have a go, and while i have made a few mistakes and some are obvious overall I am quite happy with how it came out, and it didnt take very long at all, and the best thing is that i will have plenty of time to keep trying until I get it right.

Deets:
Ink: Summer sun, Ruby Red, close to cocoa, black stazon
Cardstock: Whisper white
Stamp set: inspired by nature
other: brayer, 1 3/4" circle punch, a post it note, black stampin write marker.

My sons 3rd birthday - last year.

I did post this last year but with my website crashing I lost all my work.  ANyway wanted to show you my sons 3rd birthday Invitation and loot bags for his little friends:

Harry had a pirate themed party, everyone dressed up, we went to a local adventure park that had a ship wreck and a maze, and they had a treasure hunt througout the day which ended in the maze with a huge treasure chest.  In the treasure chest was their loot boxes.  Along the way at each clue they got an item like a sword, or an eye patch, or a hook - it was heaps of fun.
