I have to say that I have the best uppy, she is so much fun, quite quirky which is what I looove about her, and she puts up with my endless questions, silly or otherwise, and she is the one I ALWAYS ring when I have a stampin' up! crisis,lol, so thank you my friend, I appreciate it, and thank you for the award, you made me blush.

A Card Pattern Challenge

This week over at card patterns they had a sketch challenge so was needing to a get well card and getting back to basics with an all rounder stamp set was my goal. Here is my card:

A Sketch Challenge

I headed over to Makeeshas blog this week, I finally have set some time aside to stamp just because..... I have had such a full plate for the last few months that I have felt myself having no time to do what I love which is to stamp. Makeesha is a lovely person and I am happy for her with her decisions she has made for herself and her family, it is oh so inspiring to see someone write what you feel. So hugs to you Makeesha, you are truly a lovely lovely person! Anyway yay for me I made time to sit and do her challenge this week and I havent done them in such a long time so it was good to get back to it, so here is the sketch:

I chose an image this week for everyone to download, and it was the two women selling fresh flower seeds. i loved it and there were a few ways to go about this and i did debate for a while, then decided to keep it more neutral, so here is the ATC :

A Stampin Up Scarf?????

hi there everyone,

I have a beautiful post for you today, this present was given to me by my fellow DT member at Swap Sisters Anne Brignall when we reached convention.

This scarve ladies is just beautiful, its stamped in the fabulous fifth avenue floral stamp set and is just amazing, and the scarf itself is just so soft and pretty. Put it in a matching and gorgeous box and you have a beautiful gift for any occassion, and on this occasion it was a gift for me - yay.

More from Convention

Coming into the gala dinner on Saturday night we had "paparazzi" to take our photos, this guy was just one of a few of them and we entered on the red carpet, jsut a little fun. At the end of the red carpet stood Shelli and the Stampin' up! team cheering everyone as they came down the carpet.

Some Convention not so highlights

Well what an exciting few days we had in lovely Sydney, and the fabulous sites around darling harbour alone were worth the trip.

On our first night we had NOT ONE, but TWO fire evacutations, one around 1am and the other around 3 AM, needless to say i walked either up or down 30 levels of stairs, and at that time of the morning let me say was NOT fun!!! On the first trip down for the FIRST FALSE alarm, I took some photos of the fire trucks for my son who just loves fire trucks, and captured one with the firemen lol,

OMG what a night that was, and by the time we got back up to the room and between the alarm going off i think we got about 1.5 hours sleep, oh well!
Tomorrow I will bring you some photos of the actual convention night, including my photo with Shelli *squeallllllllllll* lol, ok thats all from me for tonight, catch you all tomorrow!

I have just got back from convention in Sydney and what a blast that was, I am so excited about the plans and new stamp sets that Stampin’ up! Are bringing out later in the year. They are going to be just fabulous, I had the chance to play with a few items in Sydney too and let me just say they are far too cute.

Anyway I just want to touch on a special that Stampin’ Up! Are having starting from yesterday.

Another bonus especially for those who are looking at the big shot, is if you become a demo, you then can receive 30% off the total price if you place your order in the first 45 days of becoming a demo, its that easy, what a great way to get your big shot machine or anything else you may want for 30% off, it is a one time order only for that 30% off, and it does end after 45 days, but its a way to get your machine at such a great price.

So I hope that gives some of you something to think about in terms of the big shot machine, or for any of you that would like to add to the family income, I have some ways as a potential upline that can help you to achieve those goals you may like to set without a huge expense either – you DO NOT need to own everything in the catalogue to be a successful demonstrator, you just need to love what you do. Anyway enough about that promo, i am looking to start some scrapbooking classes starting in July and also start on another stamp club, with the stamp club i have two names down already for the first one, so if you would like to join that one please let me know, it is a great way to meet some new people doing what you love – crafting.

Whoo, all that aside I cant wait to chat with you about Sydney – oh and the firemen that frequented our hotel on one particular night lol, hows that for a potential story, what a night lol, this will be another post.

A wee swap just for 3.......

Just some monkeying around

Well here it is finallllllyyy...............

My convention swaps, and i only made it to 50! I had aimed for 100 but just ran out of time. I do have to thank my hubby though, he helped to cut out 100 monkeys to raise them to 3D on top of the already stamped monkeys... note to self - next year no fiddly cutting lol. ANywayyysss, thank you so much sweetie *mwah*.

Hello everyone

Well here I am on the eve of my first ever Stampin' Up! Convention. I have finished my swaps, nearly packed my bags, and think, yes THINK i am nearly ready to go.

Miss 10s Birthday

Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy Birthday to Caitlin, Happy birthday to you. Where has the time gone, i was there 5 minutes after you were born, and today you turn 10, time has flown by and now you have reached double digits, I just cant believe it, well i hope you have a lovely birthday and get lots of lovely presents. I made you a card for your birthday and I thought this suited you quite well now lol,


tess has been cut out and raised on dimensionals, her second shopping bag has been stamped onto DSP, and the pressies inside the bag come from loads of accessories. She is walking on a stamp from vintage vogue.
