An ATC Card

Ok here is my interpretation of an ATC card, using an image and all Stampin' Up! products.

I have used the corner rounder on on end at the top, have used my cutter kit to distress the edges, the image is printed, have used winter post stamp set, a clip from the mixed clip sets from Stampin' up!, a little piece of coordintaing ribbon. The product used around the hand muff is like flower soft and the recipe for it is on the Swap Sisters Ning Site.

I have mounted the ATC card onto cardstock, added a eyelet scallop edge, and it can now be used for a chrissy card later in the year.

Well its my in laws 40th wedding anniversery so i made them a card, and of course had to use ruby red, as its a ruby anniversery lol, here are the piccies:
the hearts on the bottom right hand side are punched out with the heart to heart punch, ruby red cardstock is snailed on the inside to provide a coloured background to the hearts, then the hearts are filled with crystal effects.

the small hearts are punched with the same punch, and have been covered in crystal effects too, once dry they have been snailed onto the card. The 40 has also been coverec in crystal effects.

Happy Easter !!

Well its that time of year again when our furry two legged friend comes for a visit and leaves calorie laden pressies behind *sigh* lol, I do love those sort of pressies though dont you? So I wish you all a great Easter, lots of choccies, stay safe and enjoy it for another year.

Colour challenge at Swap Sisters this week

here is my latest colour challenge at Swap Sisters, and i think i really should make a card then choose the colours, not as much work lol, but anyway, this card took me way out of my comfort zone, for those that know me I do not do bright and summery, so to get these colours on a card was a challenge, and to make it harder I decided not to stamp a single thing on it.

cardstock: tempting Turquoise, Summer Sun, Only orange and Pixie Pink.
Other: Tempting Turquoise Grosgrain and buttons from summer catty, scallop edge punch,
Big shot machine (love this) and an embossing folder.
